Drop Box: Checks Only – payment drop box is located to the left of the front door at 159 Democrat Road for payments made after hours. However, deposited payments will not be credited until following business day.
Credit Card: Credit Cards may be used for payment through a EDMUNDS, a third party online provider. Please be aware convenience charges apply.
Ebanking: Through your bank’s service of paying bills online- Just add East Greenwich Township Tax Department as a payee/bill and put your block and lot/ address as the account number. Checks are mailed to 159 Democrat Road, Mickleton, NJ 08056.
Mortgage Escrow: Homeowners who have a mortgage may pay their taxes through the mortgage holder. Please contact them for information.
Payments, Due Dates and Property Fraud
Tax Payment Due Dates
Tax payments are due by state statute, on February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1. The township does give a ten day grace period on all payments. However, payments must be received by the 10th to avoid interest. Postmarks are not accepted.

Property fraud can be a big problem for home and property owners if precautions are not taken.
In a continued effort to protect New Jersey residents from property fraud the Gloucester County Clerk recommends all home owners register to receive notice of any changes to your homes deed.
